Thinh SOUVANNARATH known under his artist name « LITTLE SHAO » is a 33 years old self-taught professional photographer based in Paris. He grew up in France in a family of 4 children under asian values and culture. He was dedicated to be focused on studies and be a model of success for his young brothers and sister to fulfill the desire of his parents. Graduated in one of the most famous business school in Paris, he got a Master Degree in Finance and worked for two prestigious Bank as an Account Stocks Manager and as a Business Analyst during 4 years and a half.

But something in his story made him changed his whole career…

In 1994, he discovered the HipHop Culture and start to get interested into BreakDancing which become more than a passion, a lifestyle… Always fascinated by his father’s camera since he was a kid, he decided to buy his first DSLR camera only in 2004 in order to keep memories of his crew and play around with them. He really believed at that time that the best way to share the pictures was to use social platforms and network which could also help to raise the image of dancers in people’s mind. Few times later, his pictures were shared at a higher scale and touched dancers and choreographers around the world. His curiosity brought him into the Music Industry, Sports and International Dance Events, Advertising campaign for Clothing Brands, Jewellery, Fashion, Architecture and Celebrities…

In 2012, he quit his job in Finance and started to work as a full time Pro Photographer and travelled the world. The last 4 years his career as a photographer blew up and got the chance to work on so many different projects around the world with Red Bull, Instagram, Under Armour, Puma, Opera de Paris, Microsoft, Emmaus, Casio, Pioneer, Tony Parker, Madonna, Justin Bieber, Misty Copeland and more…

Today he is an ambassador for Nikon, Profoto, Lowepro and Microsoft Surface 4…Hard Work pays off!
