JJ-Street Baltic Session: Beauty Day Witness the Beauty

Beauty day gives young Estonian fashion designers a chance to introduce their creations to a wider audience. Every year “Witness the Beauty” has opened doors for many newcomers in the Estonian beauty field and has offered a great show for the spectators.

This years theme is FUTURISM, which denies old art traditions from the past and idealizes the modern industrial progress. This is the perfect opportunity to let the imagination fly and go beyond the boundaries.

The whole fashion show is opened to the public and nothing stays behind the curtains. Spectators have the opportunity to observe the preparations for the fashion show and then enjoy the results on the catwalk. Competition team can have up to five members: 1-3 collection creators and 2 models (male and female). There’s 1,5 hours on the spot to prepare the collection, at which time the male and female models hairstyle and make-up will be completed. The outfit has to be ready on the competition days morning and the last finishing touches can be made during the 1,5 hour preparation time during the event. Each team has 1,5 minutes to present their collection on the catwalk.

A special entertainment program is assembled for the audience that includes musical elements and dancing. Last year, the list of artists varied in a wide variety of genres and the eye candy was guaranteed. In addition to the concert we offer the spectators a free hairstyle and makeup from beauty professionals. And of course our Dream Team won’t be missing this year. Dream Team is composed of famous Estonian people. Last years’ Dream Team included Kristel Aaslaid, Gerttu Pabbo and Estonian Bloggers.
